Great shape. Is the 386 code related to the P-38?

Enemy SA-386 incoming, possible airstrike inbound with it! Fire the favorite rounds!

Oh this is slick! Very dynamic-looking, fascinating design. It looks elegant, powerful, and deadly--and also like something you might see at an airshow today. Fantastic!

nice, love the tail booms and the vertical stabilizers but wont they make the turret have big blind spots?

I hope that lonely radial engine up front's got some serious horsepower, or that thing's going to be a slow, ungainly flying brick.

Something like a Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major should drag it around the sky well enough :)

I would argue for something like the P&W R-2800 Double Wasp, like that on the F4U Corsair and P-47 Thunderbolt; then it wouldn't matter how heavy it was. Maybe its just the perspective, but the shape of the engine cowling makes it look like a comparatively smaller powerplant, such as that on the A6M Zero or the FW-190. The Thunderbolt got its nickname of 'The Jug' because of its huge frontal surface area for that huge powerplant.
