The SCA-214 is a light multi-purpose aircraft (looks like at OV-10 Bronco). Used for supply (1000 kg payload), paratroopers (5 fully equipped paratroopers) , ground attack and fire support. Also may used as police and anti-insurgent airplane
very nice looking aircraft
reminds me of the ov-10 bronco
I could use this. More NS stuff keep the birds coming
Supply, paradrop, attack, anti-insurgent. Police?! Very flexible aircraft.
The OV-10 Bronco is one of my favorite old aircraft. I like how you incorporated a lot of its design elements into this aircraft.
Very nice design !
Great lookin plane you got there
That is soooo cool! I've always loved the OV-10, I helped restore one at the Yankee Airforce, it's static, but very cool! Been in the back of one too, dunno how 5 guys fit! lol
I've hear of that, the YOV-10A prototype. A damn shame it was lost in the fire.
Considering your mission objectives, the fuselage might support a tilt-rotor system enabling STOL/VTOL and more tactical insertion/extraction as well as support techniques. That's just me, though. Either way, she looks like a BAMF!
It does remind me of the OV-10 Bronko, but another plane that comes to mind is the FMA IA 58 Pucará. (a ground-attack/anti-insurgency plane used by Argentina, if you're not familiar with it) I like the design, but I think the cargo/paratrooper thing seems a bit less than practical. I don't know the metric system very well, but 1000kg doesn't sound like very much, and only being able to carry 5 paratroopers doesn't sound very useful except for commando raids and covert ops. Otherwise, this seems like a pretty cool design!
1000 ks being able to carry over 8 paratrooper, but we limited by size of cargo cabin.
There was a Bronco prototype that had a 30mm chain gun or 20mm Gatling installed in a rotating turret on the belly. You may want to think about that.
Excellent shape and detail!
