SF-226 Bloodhound by TheXHS SF-226 Bloodhound by TheXHS
The SF-226 "Bloodhound" is a modification of SF-102 "Hellhound" ([link] , [link]).
Four 20 mm cannon replaced by two 37 mm cannon, added two hardpoint for ordnance.
Under nose, in pod, added IRST (Infra-red search and track)
(I found some information about using infrared system by Germany at WWII, for example - Messerschmitt Bf 110D-1/U1 had nose mounted infrared detector [link])
This aircraft have two man crew: first is a pilot, second is a IRST system operator, radio operator, navigator and bombing sight operator.
Some changes into airframe (cokpit shifted forward, for better view, canards has a forward swept and dihedral angle, wings have winglets), new high-power engine and new, six-bladed propellers.
Now this aircraft is a all-weather fighter, ground attack aircraft, and this save escort, air superiority and reconnaissance capability =)

No promises for short time I have to gather all parts and make scratch build most of the parts please note that I will make some alters in design to make it more realistic

Projection would be nice

Really liked the perspective on this one and total design. The use of airframe with double-tail configuration (like p-38 or Bronco) and of-course the canard wings, suggests that this fighter is intended to support ground forces (a.k.a ground support)- exactly as u wanted to show.
Though, i have one comment about intake- it's too big for a turbo-prop engine (my opinion). Look for photos of turbo-propelled fighters and planes and you'll see their intake is smaller in dimension than those used to feed jets. Again, wonderful work.

This one have piston engine, not tuboprop.
Intake for cooling-system.

I like it, but with a name like bloodhound you'd think it was some kind of radar heavy or sensor centric aircraft
