SXB-355 "Trident" is a heavy ground attack plane / frontline bomber. Have two 57-mm cannon in engine nacelles and 2x20 in each turret (front and rear). Can carry over 2000 kg of ordnance.
The Trident perfectly encapsulates how I feel about much of your art, XHS. There's a feeling of being lost in time- they're modern-looking aircraft, with modern design principles, but turrets and props. It's like retrofuturism, or perhaps what would have been had jets not come to the fore until much later. It's fascinating.
good really good
"Your argument is invalid."
Now, this is one great aircraft design!
Could you draw a side version of this so I can use it for my Aerial forces? Or at least something with a similar concept lol
That is a very interesting design!
Awesome bomber design, XHS!! =]
It could use a dual-MG on the underside, like the Flying Fortress, but still great work.
I like the design, and a nice treetop level bombing run with flaps down is lovely to behold. I do wonder about the forward turret... I'm sure the pilot gets kicked in the head every time the gunner gets excited!
It's kinda like 2 A-10's merged together flying backward. Ground attack planes are kinda like that.
Your designs are great!
That is awesome!
Pusher engines are so under-rated!
