The UHA-369 is an unmanned quadrocopter, designed for combat operation at city battlefield. Equiped by radar, HD-TV camera, IR camera, laser tracking device. Armed by 3x12.7 mm machinegun and two hardpoints for ordnance - unguided rockets, missiles, smart bombs. etc.
This thing is beautiful. I was hoping to build a drone soon, could I base it off this one? I was even thinking of keeping the hardpoints for cargo, etc. If I finish I'll show you!!
Yes!!!! You can! I very pleased, that you want make something like this!)
i would love to fly one of these
that is one nice UAV right their.
love it, do the engine nacelle rotate or are they in a fixed position
Is this a real craft or something you came up with? Eigther way, it looks awesome.
Second - my creature
Great!, I especially like the tail!
Awesome design dude
Very nice! And quite viable too. I suppose the rotors take power by electric means produced by an engine within the main hull?
I'll definitely use this for inspiration as I've been toying with the idea of a ducted fan UAV...
Interesting... It does seem to have something of a blind spot above it; that might prove to be a problem in an urban environment
true, but it's not like current quadrocopters have solved that problem yet.
Which is odd, as it's a lot easier to solve for a quadcopter than a helicopter
I guess your right. Would you just mount a pan-tilt camera on the top, lol. And also, they probably haven't solved the problem because the problem hasn't come up. I mean, it's not like they use Quadracopters in the military... yet, or as much as we know.
Ok again when does it come out ?
The turret for the Gatling gun (3x12.7mm MG), is a tad small don't you think? You can't even fit a single Browning 50 cal in it....
If I recall correctly a Gatling-style gun arrangement has a smaller receiver than a machine gun of equivalent diameter (Speaking for all three barrels combined at least) since there isn't a bolt or anything. Correct me if I'm wrong of course.
How do you know? There is no size comparrison possible.
Maybe you right - I don't think about relativity scale of machinwegun, TV-camera pod and M261 Light Weight Launchers.
