XHA-229 is a attack helicopter designed at "X-wing" concept. Key feature - when speed over 300 km/h - main rotor will stop rotation and will fix like as fixed wing. In this case for propulsion use jet blast from engines.
This one have 12 guided anti-tank missiles and two reconnaissance pod.

I loved the old X-wing concept back in the day, and it's well-executed here. I really like your pencil work on this, along with the smooth aerodynamic lines. The reconnaissance pod is a neat touch, too.

I'm very curious about the forward guns. Can they be moved? And I love the design, but may I ask what led you to decide against a chin turret, or something more conventional?

Yes, we have two cannon, left and right. It can moved, yes. Look at Ka-50 helicopter, it have one cannon with same position, as this (but we have two).

I remember reading about the X-wing in one of my grandpa's (GRHS) old tech magazines. Too bad nobody's taken a serious stab at the concept IRL.
